Läätsa Kalatööstus operates in Läätsa village on the island of Saaremaa, in the narrowest part of Sõrve peninsula.
There is a long history of fish processing in Läätsa village; the first fish processing plant was built already in 1948.
AS Läätsa Kalatööstus was established in 1999. In the beginning the focus was on the production and marketing of canned fish products, whereas today the company has concentrated on the production and sale of frozen sprat and Baltic herring, as well as spiced sprats. In addition, the product assortment also includes different types and sizes of prawn, seafood cocktails, mussels, squid, scallops, as well as fish fillets from distant waters.
